How do I add my team?
Go to Settings → Team. From there you can invite team members by email and assign them a role — Owner, Manager, Staff or Field Worker.
How do I send an invoice to a client?
Open any invoice and click 'Send Email'. You can customise the subject and body, attach the PDF, and send directly from KAOS using your workspace's email templates.
Can clients view their invoice online?
Yes. Every invoice has a unique public link that clients can open without logging in. It shows the full document, line items and payment details.
How do I set up my bank details for invoices?
Go to Settings → Banking. Add your BSB, account number and account name — these will appear on invoices automatically in the Payment Details section.
How do I convert a quote to an invoice?
Open the quote, mark it as Accepted, then click '→ Invoice'. The document is converted and you can send it straight away.
What roles are available for team members?
KAOS has four roles: Owner (full access), Manager (most features, limited settings), Staff (operational access) and Field Worker (jobs and scheduling only).
Can I customise the email templates?
Yes. Go to Settings → Email to create and manage templates for invoices, quotes and work orders. Templates support variables like {{client_name}} and {{total}}.
How do I set up the chart of accounts?
The chart of accounts is under the Accounts module. Navigate to Accounts → Chart of Accounts to add, edit and organise your account structure.
