KAOS is currently in an early access period during which all modules are provided at no cost. This policy describes how cancellations and refunds will work once paid plans are introduced, as referenced in our Terms of Service. We will notify existing users with reasonable advance notice before any charges begin.
You can add or remove individually-priced modules at any time from Settings > Billing. Workspace owners can cancel a module, a bundle, or the account's entire subscription at any time — there is no minimum term or lock-in contract.
When you cancel a module or your subscription, you retain access to it until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. We do not prorate or refund the unused portion of a billing period when you cancel partway through it.
If a payment fails, we automatically retry it over the following days. Your access is not interrupted while a payment is retrying. If every retry fails and the payment issue isn't resolved, the affected modules will eventually be suspended — we'll email the workspace owner and admins as soon as a payment fails, and again if access is about to be affected, so this shouldn't come as a surprise.
Amounts already charged are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods after a cancellation. We may, at our discretion, issue a full or partial refund where:
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including in relation to goods or services that fail to meet a consumer guarantee.
To cancel, use Settings > Billing in the platform. To request a refund or raise a billing issue, contact us:
We aim to respond to billing enquiries within 2 business days.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice within the platform. Continued use of KAOS after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
